They discuss her connection to Hampton Roads, background, and training. She also shares her definition of diversity, inclusion and equity using examples that allow you to clearly understand the difference between the three. Examples of different social determinates of health (SDOH) are given and they discuss a new partnership between Riverside Health Systems and HBCU's. Details about the upcoming "Eating our way to healthy hearts, closing the gap in black health disparities" event featuring celebrity chef, Carla Hall are also discussed.
